Aiding
Your Health With Nutrition and Exercise
Many people need to follow a healthy eating regime, not to
necessarily lose weight but to help aid a health problem. There are
an abundance of health diet foods to help with weight loss and
health issues but you will find that there are some ‘core’
ingredients that will be/should be in everyone’s diet to keep them
fit and healthy.
Health diet foods will help aid some health problems and
diseases such as:

The main core health foods that everyone should take are fresh
fruit and vegetables. I know that everyone keeps on hearing this,
but you really should take note of it. For instance, green
vegetables such as broccoli, spinach, sprouts and cabbage hold
vital carbohydrates and alkaline to boost your health and energy
levels enormously.
After having the main core foods, you really should consult your
doctor to give you a diet sheet with specific instructions on what
and what not to eat in relation to your health problem or food
intolerance (discussed below).
Health &
Diet
You can actually prevent many health problems by following a
healthy diet and lifestyle. If you are overweight and eat fatty
foods such as pizza and chips, eat takeaways and sweet foods, drink
excessive alcohol and smoke, and don’t do any exercise altogether
then you are a walking heart attack.
Being overweight in this way is specific in causing serious
health problems such as diabetes, strokes and heart problems. You
see, when you are overweight and eat saturated fat in most of your
food this pushes your cholesterol and blood pressure up to worrying
heights. It’s because of high cholesterol and high blood pressure
that causes diabetes, strokes and heart defects.
This is especially true if you are 40+. Being in your mature
years coupled with leading a very unhealthy lifestyle, equals some
form of health problem down the line.
Food
Intolerance
Common foods that people tend to have an intolerance against or
need to avoid due to health reasons are:
- Dairy foods
- Salt
- Wheat produce (anything made with flour)
- Refined sugary food (even fruit)
- Alcohol
- Caffeine
- Red meat
- Seafood
- Nuts
- Refined carbohydrates
You may already know that you have an intolerance against one or
two of these foods, but if you have a symptom that comes up now and
again and you just cannot figure out why then it could be that you
have a food intolerance against a specific food.
You can get food intolerance tests from a chemist or on the
Internet where you can test yourself at home. Or you could go to
your doctor and ask them to give you a food intolerance test. This
usually happens in the form of a blood test then they send your
blood to a laboratory where the test is taken.
You can obviously still follow a healthy diet if you have a food
intolerance. Get a diet sheet from your GP which eliminates the
foods that you have an allergy against. To keep a healthy lifestyle
with a food intolerance you should still eat the health diet foods
that you can and follow a sensible exercise regime.
Summary
To summarise, by following a healthy lifestyle by eating health
diet foods and doing some moderate exercise will help prevent
future health problems and will help cure present health
problems.
We have also learned how to find out if you have an intolerance
against certain foods and that you can still follow a healthy
eating and exercising regime if you have a food intolerance against
certain food types.
